In just a few days, March 5th, we will be heading to Brno, Czech Republic where we will be starting the next chapter of our journey with the Master author of our life’s story. In the picture for this posting, you will see Joe and Julie Silby who will be our new team mates as we once again focus on Roma ministry in our new environment. Joe and Julie are sweet people and have 3 children at home. They seem genuinely excited about our move to join them in ministry. This is SO encouraging and refreshing!
To be honest, it is a bit sad to think about leaving Romania. After all, coming to Romania and...

This past month has been a wonderful blessing to be able to go home to West Tennessee and spend time with our children and our church family and friends and some of our prayer partners. As I type this message, we have a little over 3 days before we board a plane to fly back to Romania to close out one of the chapters in our life. Happy New Year to all who may read this little message! For us here in Bucharest, Romania… the new year came in to the sounds of our snoring on a quiet little side street which is iced over and very cold. Thankfully, the 1st floor flat that we are currently living in was nice and warm. I suppose it is a sign of our age but we had no real desire to get out and slip slide and fight the elements. I actually did walk to a local market earlier in the afternoon yesterday… fell once. You have to hate that black ice. We have only been here about three days and I am already getting stir crazy. If...

As we wake up this morning, the reality of leaving Braila is really sinking in. So many things have happened during the last year of our lives. Honestly, there have been some bad things and some good things. Yet as I sit here and type this message to you, I will make a conscious decision to only examine the good things. I cannot tell you all of the good things because this space would not be sufficient but I will touch on the events of the last week or so. Let’s start with last night… we were blessed to worship with Metanoia Church in their new location and they were very nice to us. Pastor...
